Playwrights Horizons have announced cast updates for three productions featured in their current 2013-2014 Season.

Ken Marks has replaced Daniel Jenkins in the role of 'Husband' in the New York Premiere of Sarah Ruhl's comedy Stage Kiss, directed by Rebecca Taichman. The show began previews on 7 Feb 2014, officially opening on 2 Mar 2014 and was originally set to run its limited engagement through 23 Mar 2014 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater, but has since been extended to 6 Apr 2014.

Synopsis: Art imitates Life. Life imitates Art. When two actors with a history are thrown together as romantic leads in a forgotten 1930s melodrama, they quickly lose touch with reality as the story onstage follows them offstage. Stage Kiss is a tale about what happens when lovers share a stage kiss—or when actors share a real one.

Ken Marks' Broadway credits include 'Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark', 'Rock n Roll', 'Spring Awakening', 'After The Fall', 'Hairspray', 'Mamma Mia!' and 'Dancing at Lughnasa'. His many Off-Broadway credits include 'Our Town', 'Stuff Happens', 'The Internationalist' and 'Orson's Shadow'. This will be Mr. Marks' Playwrights Horizons debut.

Ismenia Mendes has joined the cast of the World Premiere of Kirk Lynn's new comedy Your Mother's Copy of the Kama Sutra, directed by Anne Kauffmann, in the role of Bernie. The show begins previews on 29 Mar 2014, officially opening on 21 Apr 2014 and ends its limited engagement on 11 May 2014 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater.

Synopsis: Carla agrees to marry Reggie on one condition: to break down any walls between them, they'll reenact their individual sexual histories with one another, good and bad, for better or worse. Years later, these stories bring unexpected hope to their household, now forced to confront those barriers a second time. Kirk Lynn's tough-love comedy navigates the boundaries of intimacy, finding startling empathy in the story of a father hell-bent on saving his family.

Ismenia Mendes was recently seen on stage in A.R. Gurney's new play 'Family Furniture' at The Flea Theater. Other credits include 'Baby Screams Miracle' (Clubbed Thumb) and 'Henry V' (Two River Theater). This will mark her Playwrights Horizons debut.

Full casting has also been announced for the New York Premiere of Fly By Night, by Will Connolly, Michael Mitnick and Kim Rosenstock, and directed by Carolyn Cantor.

The cast will feature Allison Case (Miriam), Adam Chanler-Berat (Harold), Peter Friedman (Mr. McClam), Michael McCormick (Crabble), Patti Murin (Daphne), Bryce Ryness (Joey) and Henry Stram (Narrator).

The production will begin previews 16 May 2014, with an Opening Night set for 10 Jun 2014, playing through 29 Jun 2014 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater.

Synopsis: 'In this dark-comedy-rock-fable, a melancholy sandwich maker's hum-drum life is intersected by two entrancing sisters. An ode to young love set against the backdrop of the northeast blackout of 1965, Fly By Night is a tale about making your way and discovering hope in a world beset by darkness.

Alison Case's Broadway credits include 'Hands on a Hardbody', 'Hair' (also West End) and 'Mamma Mia!'. She will be making her Playwrights Horizons debut.

Michael McCormick's many Broadway credits include 'Chaplin', 'Elf', 'Curtains', 'The Grinch', 'The Pajama Game', 'Gypsy', 'Kiss Me Kate', '1776', 'Kiss of the Spiderwoman', 'Marie Christine' and 'La Bête'. Selected Off-Broadway credits include 'Fanny', 'The Tin Pan Alley Rag', 'Candide', 'A Man of No Importance' and .The Prince and the Pauper'. He made his Playwrights Horizons debut with 'Coming Attractions'.
