Carey Mulligan to star in Girls & Boys at Minetta Lane Theatre

Mulligan reprises her acclaimed Royal Court Theatre performance for a limited 5-week off-Broadway engagement.

Audible, Inc. presents a New York transfer for the acclaimed Royal Court Theatre production of Girls & Boys, written by Dennis Kelly and directed by Olivier Award winner Lyndsey Turner. BAFTA Award winner and Oscar & Tony Award nominee Carey Mulligan reprises her performance in this one-woman show for a limited 5-week engagement at off-Broadway's Minetta Lane Theatre from June 12 through to July 15, 2018, with an official opening set for June 20.

Synopsis: "They met at an airport and fell for each other. But in time, they would meet their fate as it all falls apart."

The creative team behind Girls & Boys includes scenic design by Es Devlin, costume design by Jack Galloway, lighting design by Oliver Fenwick, sound design by David McSeveney, video design by Luke Halls, and movement by Joseph Alford.

Carey Mulligan made her Broadway debut as Nina in the 2008 revival of The Seagull and returned to Broadway as Kyra Hollis in Skylight, earning a Tony Award nomination, in 2015. She previously made her off-Broadway debut in the 2011 New York Theatre Workshop production of Through a Glass Darkly. On screen, she is perhaps best known for her BAFTA-winning and Golden Globe & Oscar-nominated turn as Jenny Mellor in "An Education". Other notable screen credits include "Drive," "Never Let Me Go," "Shame," "Suffragette," "Far from the Madding Crowd," "Inside Llewyn Davis," and "The Great Gatsby," among others.

Minetta Lane's current production of Harry Clarke, starring Tony Award winner Billy Crudup, continues at the venue through to May 13, 2018.
