The Actors Fund has officially announced a concert presentation of Bombshell, the Marilyn Monroe musical from the Golden Globe-nominated TV series SMASH on NBC. The one-night-only event will take place at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre on Monday, 8 June 2015 - the day after the Tony Awards.

Bombshell features music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, choreography by Joshua Bergasse and is co-directed by Joshua Bergasse and Scott Wittman, and produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

The cast of Bombshell includes SMASH favourites Christian Borle, Will Chase, Megan Hilty, Katharine McPhee and Debra Messing, along with 'a starry collection of Broadway favorites.'

Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron released the following statement:

"The Actors Fund is an organization close to our hearts. We're proud that this incredible cast can come together to support such a worthy cause and to share this exciting score live on Broadway for the first time."
Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, Actors Fund Chairman, added:
"We're incredibly grateful to Craig and Neil and to everyone in this generous cast and creative team. Bombshell will be a one-of-a-kind benefit night thanks to them and will raise much-needed funds to help The Actors Fund continue their unique mission of helping everyone in need in our performing arts community across the country."
The soundtrack of NBC Smash's Bombshell includes the Emmy-nominated songs "Let Me Be Your Star," and "Hang the Moon."
