The Beetlejuice musical, an adaptation of the hit Tim Burton film, follows the titular "ghost with the most" who has a plan to come back to life. He enlists the help of a young, strange teenager, Lydia, to make it happen and cause some havoc along the way. He also gives the Maitlands, a buttoned-up couple that just died in the house Lydia now lives in, a lesson in how to be dead and haunting. The musical received eight Tony nominations in 2019, including Best Musical.
