It's showtime! Internet personality Trisha Paytas will join the Beetlejuice Broadway cast for three weeks only this fall, playing Maxine Dean from November 7-23.

Paytas is a social media content creator, podcast host, and performer who has gone on to appear on TV shows like The Tonight Show, America’s Got Talent, Modern Family, and Celebrity Big Brother UK. In 2025, she made her Broadway debut with the one-night benefit concert Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream.

In Beetlejuice, Paytas will temporarily replace Sharone Sayegh, who doubles as Maxine Dean and Juno; Sayegh will continue to play Juno throughout Paytas's run. The cast also includes Justin Collette as Beetlejuice, Isabella Esler as Lydia (Madison Mosley at select performances), Megan McGinnis as Barbara, Will Burton as Adam, Jesse Sharp as Charles, Jenni Barber as Delia, Patrick Oliver Jones as Otho, Travis Mitchell as Maxie Dean, Vanessa Aurora Sierra as Miss Argentina, and Emilia Tagliani as Girl Scout.

Adapted from the 1988 Tim Burton film, Beetlejuice follows a ghost who teams up with a newly dead couple and a goth teenager to wreak havoc on a suburban home. The current run of Beetlejuice on Broadway, at the Palace Theatre through January 3, is the musical's third engagement in NYC.
