‘Beetlejuice’ musical to return to Broadway this fall

The Tony Award-nominated stage adaptation of the 1988 Michael Keaton film will play a limited engagement at the Palace Theatre beginning in October.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! The Beetlejuice musical will return to Broadway for the third time, playing a limited 13-week run at the Palace Theatre from October 8 to January 3, 2026.

Adapted from the 1988 Michael Keaton movie, Beetlejuice follows the demon ghost of the title, a spooky teenager named Lydia Deetz, and a newly dead couple who raise hell and turn Lydia's family's life upside down.

The Beetlejuice musical premiered on Broadway in 2019, when it was nominated for eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, and returned for an encore engagement in 2022.

Beetlejuice features direction by Alex Timbers; a score by Eddie Perfect; a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King; choreography by Connor Gallagher; music supervision, orchestrations, and incidental music by Kris Kukul; scenic design by David Korins, costume design by William Ivey Long; lighting design by Kenneth Posner; sound design by Peter Hylenski; projection design by Peter Nigrini; puppet design by Michael Curry; special effects design by Jeremy Chernick; illusions by Michael Weber; hair and wig design by Charles G. LaPointe; makeup design by Joe Dulude II; dance arrangements by David Dabbon; and music producing by Matt Stine.

Casting has yet to be announced.
