Lincoln Center Theater has announced that stage veteran Ann McDonough has joined the cast of Joshua Harmon's new play Admissions, directed by Daniel Aukin, which will begin previews at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater on February 15, 2018, before an official opening on March 12 and a limited engagement through to April 29, 2018. Ms. McDonough replaces previously announced cast member and five-time Tony Award nominee Dana Ivey, who has sadly been forced to exit the production to undergo hip surgery.

Ms. McDonough has previously appeared in the Broadway productions of Dinner at Eight, Abe Lincoln in Illinois, Mastergate, Boy Meets Girl, Secret Service, and Trelawny of the "Wells."

The cast of Admissions also includes Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht (as Sherri Rosen-Mason), alongside Ben EdelmanAndrew Garman, and Sally Murphy.

Synopsis: "Sherri Rosen-Mason is head of the admissions department at The Hillcrest School, fighting to diversify the student body. And alongside her husband, the school's Headmaster, they've largely succeeded in bringing a stodgy institution into the twenty-first century. But when their only son sets his sights on an Ivy League university, personal ambition collides with progressive values, with convulsive results. Admissions is a new play that explodes the ideals and contradictions of liberal white America."

The creative team behind Admissions features scenic design by Riccardo Hernandez, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Mark Barton, and sound design by Ryan Rumery.
