Animals Out of Paper extends its run by one week


Second Stage Theatre's presentation of Animals Out of Paper, by Rajiv Joseph extends its run by one week, and will now play through to 24 Aug 2008.

The drama opened at McGinn/Cazale Theatre on 4 Aug 2008, following previews from 14 Jul and was originally scheduled to close on 17 Aug 2008.

Animals Out of Paper: When a world renowned origami artist opens her studio to a teenage prodigy and his school teacher, she finds that life and love can't be neatly arranged in this drama about finding the perfect fold.

Directed by Giovanna Sardelli, Animals Out of Paper features Utkarsh Ambudkar, Kellie Overbey and Jeremy Shamos.

The creative team includes Beowulf Boritt (sets), Amy Clark (costumes), Josh Bradford (lighting) and Bart Fasbender(sound).

Animals Out of Paper was commissioned through the Time Warner Commissioning Program at Second Stage Theatre and is the first play to be produced through the program.
