Here are your people! The spring Broadway revival of An Enemy of the People has completed its cast ahead of its first performance at the Circle in the Square Theatre. The 16-week limited engagement begins on February 27, with opening night on March 18.

Newly announced cast members include Caleb Eberhardt as Hovstad, Matthew August Jeffers as Billing, David Patrick Kelly as Morten Kiil, Thomas Jay Ryan as Aslaksen, and Alan Trong as Captain Horster. David Mattar Merten, Katie Broad, Bill Buell, and Max Roll complete the cast.

They join previously announced leads Jeremy Strong as Dr. Thomas Stockmann, Michael Imperioli as Peter Stockmann, and Victoria Pedretti as Petra Stockmann.

Additionally, the creative team, led by director Sam Gold, includes scenic designer dots, costume designer David Zinn, lighting designer Isabella Byrd, sound designer Mikaal Sulaiman, and hair and wig designer Luc Verschueren for Campbell Young Associates.

Henrik Ibsen's classic drama An Enemy of the People follows Dr. Thomas Stockmann as he becomes the target of hatred for publicizing the presence of contaminants in his town's water — saving lives, but harming the town's economy and reputation. This revival features a newly adapted script by Amy Herzog, who was Tony Award-nominated for adapting Ibsen's A Doll's House for Broadway in 2023.
