Adam Pascal returns to Pretty Woman: The Musical on Broadway

Pascal assumes the role of Edward Lewis for five performances only from February 19 to 22, 2019 at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre.

Welcome (back) to Rodeo Drive! Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal returns to the Broadway premiere of Pretty Woman: The Musical at the Nederlander Theatre tonight, assuming the leading role of Edward Lewis during Andy Karl's time off. Pascal will star in the musical for five performances only, through to February 22, 2019.

The Rent favorite previously starred as Edward Lewis for eight performances in January 2019.

Pascal made his Broadway debut in 1996, originating the role of Roger Davis in Rent (and earning a Tony Award nomination in the process). He also reprised the role in the West End production and in the 2005 film adaptation. His other Broadway credits include the roles of Billy Flynn in Chicago, Huey in Memphis, William Shakespeare in Something Rotten! and Chad in Disaster!

The principal cast of Pretty Woman: The Musical currently includes Samantha Barks (as Vivian Ward), Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal (as Edward Lewis), Tony Award nominee Orfeh (as Kit De Luca), Jason Danieley (as Phillip Stuckey), Eric Anderson (as Mr. Thompson), and Ezra Knight (as James Morse).

3-time Tony Award nominee & Olivier Award winner Andy Karl is scheduled to return to the role of Edward Lewis from February 23.

Pretty Woman: The Musical officially opened at the Nederlander Theatre on August 16, 2018, following previews from July 20.

Pretty Woman is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell. The show features original music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and his longtime songwriting partner Jim Vallance, and a book by Garry Marshall and J.F. Lawton, the director and screenwriter, respectively, of the original movie.

The creative team features music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Will Van Dyke, scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner & Philip S. Rosenberg, sound design by John Shivers, and hair design by Josh Marquette.

Pretty Woman: The Musical is produced on Broadway by Paula Wagner, Nice Productions, LPO, New Regency Productions, Roy Furman, James L. Nederlander, Caiola Productions, Hunter Arnold, Stage Entertainment and The John Gore Organization.

Pretty Woman: The Musical Tickets are available now for performances through to June 9, 2019.
