'44 - The Musical' sets Off-Broadway cast

The satirical show about Barack Obama's presidency arrives at the Daryl Roth Theatre in New York following acclaimed runs in Los Angeles and Chicago.

The complete cast and creative team has been set for 44 - The Musical off Broadway, running at the Daryl Roth Theatre from October 14 to December 7. Opening night is November 6.

Written and directed by former Obama campaign staffer Eli Bauman, 44 - The Musical is a satirical look at the political career of Barack Obama and the eccentric characters he met along the way, all told from Joe Biden's perspective as he "sorta kinda" remembers it.

The 44 - The Musical cast features T.J. Wilkins as Barack Obama, Shanice as Michelle Obama, and Chad Doreck as Joe Biden alongside Larry Cedar as Mitch McConnell, Summer Collins as Sarah Palin, Summer Nicole Greer as Voice of the People, Jenna Pastuszek as Hillary Clinton, Dino Shorté as Herman Cain, Jeff Sumner as Lindsey Graham, and Michael Uribes as Ted Cruz.

Audri Bartholomew, Wilkie Ferguson III, Greer, Chelsea Morgan Stock, and Ryan Williams are understudies.

Additionally, the L.A. band House of Vibe will perform as “The Andrew Jackson Five,” with Anthony “Brew” Brewster on keyboards, Phillip “Fish” Fisher on drums, Corey Cofield on bass, Conrad Bauer on guitar, and Greg Raymond on keyboards.

44 - The Musical also has choreography by Miss James Alsop, scenic design by Julio Himede, costume design by Matthew Hemesath, lighting design by Nathan W. Scheuer and Natali Arco, and sound design by Jonathan A. Burke, music direction by Anthony “Brew” Brewster, and music supervision by Wilkie Ferguson III.
