The brilliant news keeps on coming: Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee Tracee Ellis Ross will make her Broadway debut in Every Brilliant Thing, performing at the Hudson Theatre this summer for five weeks only from July 7 to August 9.
Ross will succeed current star and Tony winner Daniel Radcliffe, who performs through May 24, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay, who will make her own Broadway debut in the solo show from May 26 to July 5.
Ross is best known for her lead performance as Dr. Rainbow Johnson in the TV show Black-ish, for which she earned a Golden Globe, six NAACP Image Awards, and nominations for five Emmy Awards.
Every Brilliant Thing's sole character is a person who makes a list of life's little joys to cheer up their depressed mother, and the list eventually follows the character throughout the ups and downs in their own life. Audience volunteers round out the cast of characters and lend additional support to this highly interactive show.
