22nd Lucille Lortel Awards to be presented on 7 May 2007


The League of Off-Broadway Theatres and Producers have announced that The 22nd Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for outstanding achievement Off-Broadway will be presented on 7 May 2007 at New World Stages.

The Award ceremony will be hosted by Bebe Neuwirth, who currently stars as Roxie in Chicago and Eric Bogosian, whose play Talk Radio is currently being presented at the Longacre Theatre.

The 31 Mar is the cut-off date for nominations, which will be announced on 3 Apr 2007.

During the ceremony the Actors� Fund of America will be presented with a Special Award in honor of 125 years of service and christopher During will be honored with a star on Playwrights� Sidewalk on christopher Street.

A limited number of tickets, for the ceremony only, will go on sale to the publicon on 1 Apr 2007.

Awarded since 1986, the Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the League by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Foundation.
