Vincent Jamal Hooper stars as Simba in The Lion King on Broadway at the Minskoff Theatre. He made his Broadway debut in the show. He performed around the world in multiple companies of Hamilton, playing the roles of Hamilton, Burr, Lafayette/Jefferson, George Washington, and King George III, including in Puerto Rico alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda. Other stage credits include White Girl in Danger (Off-Broadway) and regional productions of Passing Strange, In the Heights, The Great Society, and Hairspray.
