Knight is known for his Emmy-nominated role as Dr. George O'Malley on Grey's Anatomy and his Broadway work including Noises Off opposite Patti LuPone, A Life in the Theatre opposite Patrick Stewart, It's Only a Play, and Stranger Things: The First Shadow. He received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play for his Off-Broadway performance in Scattergood and starred in the Los Angeles production of Parade as Leo Frank.
