Tavon Olds-Sample stars as Michael in MJ The Musical on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre through May 31, 2026. The show marked his Broadway debut, and he has played over 2,000 performances in the role since 2021. He helped develop the role throughout the workshop process and received critical acclaim, with The Guardian calling his performance "remarkable."
Regional credits include Scottsboro Boys at Beck Center for the Arts and I Sing the Rising Sea at Virginia Stage Company. He received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical.
