Mutu is known for his Broadway roles as the Duke of Monroth in Moulin Rouge! The Musical (Grammy Award nomination) and Yurii Zhivago in Doctor Zhivago (Drama League Award nomination). He has also appeared in numerous musicals and plays in London's West End, such as Love Never Dies, City of Angels, South Pacific, Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, and Les Misérables (two BroadwayWorld West End Awards).
