Jones made her Broadway debut as an understudy in Meet Me in St. Louis, but her first leading role was as Catherine in the Broadway revival of Pippin. She is best known, however, for her role as Heidi Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen, which won her an Emmy Award, a Grammy Award, and the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical in 2017.
Her other stage credits include Hair and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown on Broadway and A Christmas Story: The Musical, Next to Normal, and Fiddler on the Roof across the U.S.
Jones has also had recurring roles in several television shows. These include God Friended Me, Modern Family, The Good Doctor, Young Sheldon, and Why Women Kill.
