Okieriete Onaodowan

Okieriete Onaodowan plays Buddy Bolden in the Encores! production of Jelly’s Last Jam at New York City Center from February 21 to March 3.

Onaodowan rose to fame for playing Hercules Mulligan/James Madison in the original cast of Hamilton on Broadway. Since then, he also starred on Broadway in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 as Pierre Bezukhov and A Doll's House as Nils Krogstad, opposite Jessica Chastain.

On screen, Onaodowan is known for appearing in the 2023 film American Fiction and playing Dean Miller in the Grey's Anatomy spinoff series Station 19.
