
Lesley Manville stars as Jocasta in Oedipus on Broadway at Studio 54 from October 30, 2025 to February 8, 2026.
Manville is a British stage and screen star particularly her collaborations with British filmmaker Mike Leigh in movies like Vera Drake and Another Year. She is known to audiences worldwide for her Emmy-nominated performance as Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon on The Crown and Oscar-nominated role in Phantom Thread. Additional film credits include starring in Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris and appearing in Maleficent, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, and Queer.
On stage, Manville made her debut with London's Royal Shakespeare Company in 1978 in Savage Amusement, and she most recently appeared in the West End in Long Day's Journey Into Night in 2018 and The Visit in 2020. She also originated her performance in Oedipus there.
