
Lencia Kebede stars as Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway at the Gershwin Theatre through March 1, 2026. She made history as the first Black actress to play the role on Broadway full-time. She previously spent five years touring across the U.S. in Hamilton, playing various roles including Angelica Schuyler, toured nationally and internationally as Joanne in Rent, and sang backup for Beyoncé ahead of her 2018 Coachella performance.
