Kumail Nanjiani made his Broadway debut as Mary's Husband in Oh, Mary! on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre in 2025. Nanjiani is a stand-up comedian and actor best known for his performances as Dinesh in Silicon Valley, Somen "Steve" Banerjee in Welcome to Chippendales (Emmy Award nomination), Samir Wassan in The Twilight Zone (Emmy nomination), and Rudy "Christmas Guy" Thurber in Only Murders in the Building. He co-wrote and starred as himself in the romantic comedy movie The Big Sick, earning an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
