Ken Ard stars as DJ Griddlebone in Cats: The Jellicle Ball on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre from March 18, 2026.
Since making his Broadway debut in 1981, Ard has originated major musical roles including Macavity, Plato, and the Rumpus cat in the 1982 NYC premiere of Cats, Electra in Starlight Express, and Ken in Smokey Joe’s Café.
He has appeared in five additional Broadway productions, played Wilbur in the Oscar-winning Chicago movie musical, and also works as a visual artist, award-winning chef, and jazz singer.
