Katie Brayben stars as Tammy Faye Bakker in Tammy Faye on Broadway at the Palace Theatre from October 19.
Brayben is an acclaimed English performer and one of only six actresses to win that country's Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical twice. She first won for playing Carole King in the London premiere of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical in 2015. Her second win, in 2023, was for originating the title role in Tammy Faye's 2022 world premiere in London.
Brayben also appeared on screen in an episode of Doctor Who and as Princess Diana in the TV movie King Charles III, both in 2017.
