John David Washington stars in Disruption off Broadway at the Pershing Square Signature Center from July 22 to September 13.
The son of Denzel Washington and a former pro football player before pursuing an acting career, John David Washington made his Broadway debut as Boy Willie in the Tony Award-nominated 2022 revival of The Piano Lesson opposite Samuel L. Jackson. Washington won a Theatre World Award for his performance.
He is best known, however, for his leading performances in movies including BlacKkKlansman (Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award nominations), Tenet, Malcolm & Marie, and The Creator.
