
Carl Clemons-Hopkins makes their Broadway debut as Brooks Duncan in The Balusters on Broadway at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre from March 31, 2026.
Clemons-Hopkins is best known for their Emmy Award-nominated performance as Marcus on HBO's Hacks. They have also performed in the Off-Broadway world premieres of the plays Lessons In Survival: 1971 and For The Last Time and in productions with renowned U.S. institutions like Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre, Arden Theatre in Philadelphia, and the NYC-based Breaking the Binary Theater.
Additional screen credits include the film Candyman and the TV shows Chicago Med and Star Trek: Lower Decks.
