Anne Reid

Anne Reid makes her Broadway debut as Merope in Oedipus on Broadway at Studio 54 from October 30, 2025 to February 8, 2026. Having worked extensively across British film, TV, and stage, she was awarded an MBE by Queen Elizabeth II and appointed CBE by King Charles III. In addition to performing in the West End and at storied institutions like the National Theatre and Menier Chocolate Factory, all in London, Reid is known for her her BAFTA-nominated and London Film Critics' Circle Award-winning performance in the film The Mother. TV credits include Doctor Who, The Sixth Commandment (BAFTA nomination), and Last Tango in Halifax.
