Broadway's hit musical Wicked is set to welcome new principal cast members to the production at the Gershwin Theatre from January 30, 2018.

Tony Award nominee Isabel Keating will assume the role of Madame Morrible from Tony Award winner Rondi Reed. Ms. Keating, who has recently been playing Madame Morrible on the National Tour of Wicked, earned a Tony Award nomination (and won a Drama Desk Award and Theatre World Award) for her performance as Judy Garland in the 2003 Broadway premiere of The Boy from Oz. Her other Broadway credits include It's Only a Play, Hairspray, Enchanted April, and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.

Obie Award winner Martin Moran is set to assume the role of Doctor Dillamond from Chad Jennings. Mr. Moran last played the role on the National Tour of Wicked in December 2011. He has previously appeared on Broadway in Spamalot, Bells Are Ringing, Cabaret, Titanic, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Big River, and Oliver!

Both Ms. Reed and Mr. Jennings will play their final performances as Madame Morrible and Doctor Dillamond, respectively, on January 28, 2018.

The current principal cast of Wicked includes Jennifer DiNoia (as Elphaba), Amanda Jane Cooper (as Glinda), Ashley Parker Angel (as Fiyero), Fred Applegate (as The Wizard), Kristen Martin (as Nessarose), Tony Award winner Rondi Reed (as Madame Morrible), Jye Frasca (as Boq), and Chad Jennings (Dr. Dillamond).

The Broadway musical Wicked officially opened at the Gershwin Theatre on October 30, 2003, following previews from October 8.

Wicked features music & lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, a book by Winnie Holzman, and is based on the popular novel by Gregory Maguire.

Synopsis: "Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Wicked tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch."

The production is directed by Joe Mantello, with choreography by James Lynn Abbott, and features scene design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and sound design by Tony Meola.

Wicked is produced on Broadway by Universal Stage Productions, Marc Platt, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt, and David Stone.
