The non-profit Vineyard Theatre has now revealed initial casting details for its previously announced New York premiere of Mara Nelson-Greenberg's Do You Feel Anger?, directed by Margot Bordelon, which is set to begin previews on March 13, 2019, ahead of an official opening on March 31.

The cast includes (in alphabetical order) Tom Aulino (as Old Man), Ugo Chukwu (as Jordan), Megan Hill (as Eva), Greg Keller (as Jon), and Tiffany Villarin (as Sophia). Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Synopsis: "In this dazzling dark comedy, Sofia (played by Ms. Villarin) is hired as an empathy coach at a debt collection agency -- and clearly, she has her work cut out for her. These employees can barely identify what an emotion is, much less practice deep, radical compassion for others. As they painstakingly stumble towards enlightenment, someone keeps mugging Eva in the kitchen, and the unspoken dynamics of their seemingly blithe workplace culture become increasingly unsettling. Do You Feel Anger? reminds us that change is not always easy, and may come with unexpected costs."

The creative team behind Do You Feel Anger? has also been announced and features scenic design by Laura Jellinek, costume design by Emilio Sosa, lighting design by Marie Yokoyama, and sound design by Palmer Hefferan.

Do You Feel Anger? staged its world premiere at the 2018 Humana Festival of New American Plays at Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Vineyard Theatre's next production is the world premiere of Jeremy O. Harris' "Daddy", co-produced by The New Group. Directed by Danya Taymor, the new play stars 2-time Golden Globe nominee and Tony Award winner Alan Cumming and is set to begin previews at  Performances Pershing Square Signature Center's Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre on February 12, 2019, ahead of an official opening on March 5 and a limited engagement through to March 31, 2019.
