Susan Stroman's The Beast in the Jungle will now play its final performance on June 24, 2018.
Vineyard Theatre has announced a second 1-week extension for its current world premiere of The Beast in the Jungle - a new "dance play" by the creative minds behind The Scottsboro Boys, features music by four-time Tony Award winner John Kander, a book by Tony Award nominee David Thompson and direction & choreography by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. The Beast in the Jungle began previews off-Broadway on May 4, 2018, and officially opened on May 23 (read our 4* review). With a waltz-inspired instrumental score, and dazzling choreography that traverses the worlds of ballet and contemporary dance, this powerful and romantic tale of love and loss reunites the remarkable creative team behind The Vineyard’s acclaimed The Scottsboro Boys."
