TACT announces cast & creatives for Hard Love
TACT (The Actors Company Theatre) has announced the cast and creative team for the upcoming off-Broadway premiere of Hard Love, written by Motti Lerner and directed by Scott Alan Evans, which will begin previews at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre on 29 September 2015, before an official opening on 11 October, and a limited engagement through to 31 October 2015.
The cast of Hard Love includes guest artists Ian Kahn (Zvi) and TACT member Victoria Mack (Hannah).
Synopsis: "Set in the Ultra-orthodox Mea She'arim district in Jerusalem, Hard Love is the fiercely romantic and passionate story of Hannah and Zvi, a divorced couple whose lives are thrown back together when the teenaged children from their second marriages start to become romantically involved. The enormous divide between the faithful and the non-believing is attempted to be bridged by the power of an undying earthly love. Which will win out? How will they navigate this greatest of all divides?"
The creative team features scenic design by John McDermott, costume design by Kim Krumm Sorenson, lighting design by Aaron Copp, sound design by Toby Algya, and props by Samantha Shoffner.
