New York Theatre Guide at the Opening Night of The Lightning Thief on Broadway

The Broadway premiere of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical continues its limited run at the Longacre Theatre through January 5, 2020.

By Zeus! Percy Jackson is here, taking a bite out of the Big Apple! With five best-selling novels, collections of short stories and two Hollywood film adaptations already to his name, the young demi-god can now add Broadway musical to his impressive résumé! The New York Theatre Guide was on had last night to celebrate the official opening of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical at the Longacre Theatre with the cast and creative team, before heading to the official post-show party at Bowlmor Times Square.

The Lightning Thief has been particularly warmly received by youngsters at the theatre, overjoyed to see their beloved literary characters brought to life on the stage in this wildly imaginitive musical for the entire family.
