Last night the New York Theatre Guide was on hand to celebrate the official opening of the Broadway premiere of Moulin Rouge! The Musical and with a reported budget of around $40 million, it was the most dazzling Opening Night Broadway has seen in a very long time!

We caught up with the legendary filmmaker and the creator/director of the original 2001 movie Baz Luhrmann on the Red Carpet outside the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, and partied long into the night at the Hammerstein Ballroom with the cast, creative team and invited guests, where we spoke to the musical's divinely talented stars, Aaron Tveit, Tony Award winner Karen Olivo, and six-time Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein!
