The Manhattan Theatre Club has announced that, at the request of playwright Richard Greenberg and director Lynne Meadow, previously announced The Swing of the Sea has been postponed to give the team more time to prepare the production. Taking its place in MTC's 2014-2015 season will now be Melissa Ross' play Of Good Stock, also directed by Lynne Meadow. Performances will begin at off-Broadway's New York City Center on 2 June 2015, before officially opening on 23 June.

Synopsis: "The three Stockton sisters are witty, brilliant, beautiful - and a total mess, thanks to the legacy of their complicated novelist father. In Melissa Ross' new play, these women gather at their family home on Cape Cod for a summer weekend. Their reunion ignites passions, humor, and wildly unanticipated upheavals."

The creative team for Of Good Stock features scenic design by Santo Loquasto, costumes by Tom Broecker, lighting by Peter Kaczorowski, and sound design by Jill BC Du Boff.

Casting information will be released at a later date.
