Academy Award winner Kenneth Lonergan's Lobby Hero - Second Stage Theater's inaugural Broadway production at the Hayes Theater - begins previews tonight, ahead of an official opening on March 26 and a limited engagement through to May 13, 2018.

The production also marks the Broadway debut of "Captain America" star Chris Evans, who takes on the role of Bill, and will be joined on stage by "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" star Michael Cera (as Jeff), Emmy Award nominee Brian Tyree Henry (as William), and Bel Powley (as Dawn).

Synopsis: "What happens when emotions come in conflict with principles, and how do choices under pressure define who we really are? The lobby of a Manhattan apartment building is much more than a waiting area for four New Yorkers involved in a murder investigation. It's a testing ground for what happens when personal and professional personas find themselves at odds. A young security guard with big ambitions clashes with his stern boss, an intense rookie cop and her unpredictable partner."

Under the direction of Trip Cullman, the creative team behind Lobby Hero features scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Paloma Young, lighting design by Japhy Weideman, and sound design by Darron L West.

Lobby Hero will be followed by a new production of Young Jean Lee's Straight White Men, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, which runs from June 29 through to September 9, 2018, at the Hayes Theater. Lee will make history as the first female Asian-American playwright to ever be produced on Broadway.

Lobby Hero Tickets are available now for performances through to May 13, 2018.
