Jesus Hopped the A Train extends again at Pershing Square Signature Center
The acclaimed revival of Stephen Adly Guirgis' hit play extends its limited engagement for a third week.
Signature Theatre has announced another extension for its current revival of Stephen Adly Guirgis' Jesus Hopped the A Train, which will now play its final performance on Sunday, December 3, 2017.
Previews began at the Irene Diamond Stage at off-Broadway's Pershing Square Signature Center on October 5, 2017, before an official opening on October 23. The limited engagement was originally scheduled to run through to November 12, 2017, before an initial extension through to November 26.

Synopsis: "Angel Cruz is a 30-year-old bicycle messenger awaiting trial for the death of the leader of a religious cult. Inside Rikers Island, a terrified Angel is befriended by a charismatic serial killer named Lucius Jenkins. Lucius has found God and been born again, and now, Angel's life and the course of his trial will be changed forever. Jesus Hopped the A Train is a darkly comic meditation on redemption and faith."
The cast of Jesus Hopped the A Train includes (in alphabetical oder) Erick Betancourt (as Charlie D'Amico), Sean Carvajal(as Angel Cruz), SAG Award winner and "Desperate Housewives" star Ricardo Chavira (as Valdez), Stephanie DiMaggio (as Mary Jane Hanrahan), and Edi Gathegi (as Lucius Jenkins).
Under the direction of Mark Brokaw, the creative team features scenic design by Riccardo Hernandez, costume design by Dede M. Ayite, lighting design by Scott Zielinski, and sound design by M.L. Dogg.
Jesus Hopped the A Train Tickets are available now for performances through to December 3, 2017.
