Jersey Boys begins Off-Broadway run at New World Stages

The Tony Award-winning musical returns to the New York stage in an open-ended Off-Broadway engagement.

If you've been "Beggin'" to see the Jersey Boys back on the New York stage, then beg no further because the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning musical begins its open-ended Off-Broadway run at New World Stages tonight!

Synopsis: "Jersey Boys is the behind-the-music story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard... and the radio just couldn't get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story - a story that has made them an international sensation all over again. The show features all their hits including 'Sherry,' 'Big Girls Don't Cry,' 'Oh What A Night,' 'Walk Like A Man,' 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You' and 'Working My Way Back To You.'"

The cast of Jersey Boys includes Aaron De Jesus (pictured, as Frankie Valli), Nicolas Dromard (as Tommy DeVito), Mark Edwards (as Nick Massi), and Cory Jeacoma (as Bob Gaudio), alongside Stephen Cerf, Andrew Frace, Natalie Gallo, Jon Hacker, Christopher Messina, Austin Owen, John Rochette, Jenna Nicole Schoen, Rachel Schur, and Dru Serkes.

Winner of the 2006 Tony Award for "Best Musical", Jersey Boys is written by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe. The production is directed by Tony Award winner Des McAnuff.

The creative team also features music supervision, vocal/dance arrangements & incidental music by Ron Melrose, orchestrations by Steve Orich, music coordination by John Miller, choreography by Sergio Trujillo, scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Steve Canyon Kennedy, projection design by Michael Clark, wig & hair design by Charles LaPointe, and fight direction by Steve Rankin.

Jersey Boys is produced off-Broadway by Dodger Theatricals, Joseph J. Grano, Kevin Kinsella, Pelican Group, Latitude Link, and Tommy Mottola.

The Broadway production played its final performance at the August Wilson Theatre on January 15, 2017. The musical began previews on October 4, 2005, officially opening on November 6 and playing a total of 4,642 performances on the Great White Way.

Jersey Boys Tickets are available now for performances through to September 2, 2018.
