Second Stage Theater has now announced complete casting for the previously announced New York premiere of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tracy LettsLinda Vista, which is scheduled to begin previews at The Hayes Theater on Broadway on September 19, ahead of an official opening on October 10 and a limited engagement through November 10, 2019.

Ian Barford will star in the central role of Wheeler, alongside Sally Murphy (as Margaret), Caroline Neff (as Anita), Chantal Thuy (as Minnie), Jim True-Frost (as Paul), Cora Vander Broek (as Jules), and Troy West (as Michael). Mr. Barford previously collaborated with Ms. Murphy, Mr. True-Frost, and Mr. West in Tracy Letts' masterpiece August: Osage County on Broadway.

Synopsis: "Linda Vista takes a brutally comedic look at Wheeler, a 50-year-old divorcee in the throes of a mid-life spiral. Just out of his ex-wife's garage and into a place of his own, Wheeler starts on a path toward self-discovery — navigating blind dates, old friends, and new love. Full of opinions, yet short on self-examination, Wheeler must reconcile the man he has become with the man he wants to be."

Directed by Dexter Bullard, the creative team behind Linda Vista features scenic design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Laura Bauer, lighting design by Marcus Doshi, sound design by Richard Woodbury.

This Steppenwolf Theatre production is presented on Broadway by Second Stage Theater in association with Center Theatre Group, who staged its west coast premiere at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles in January, 2019.
