Broadway alum Brenda Pressley has replaced previously announced Suzzanne Douglas in the upcoming world premiere of Proof of Love, written by Chisa Hutchinson and directed by Jade King Carroll, which begins previews at off-Broadway's Minetta Lane Theatre on May 7, 2019, ahead of an official opening on May 14 and a limited engagement through to June 16, 2019.

Ms. Pressley, who can currently be seen in Keen Company's New York premiere of Surely Goodness and Mercy at Theatre Row, has previously appeared on the Broadway stage in The Lyons, The American Plan, Cats, Dreamgirls and The Moony Shapiro Songbook. Ms. Douglas has departed the production due to personal reasons.

Additional creative team members will be announced shortly.

Proof of Love is produced off-Broadway by Audible Inc. in association with New York Theatre Workshop. As with all Audible productions, Proof of Love will be recorded and presevred as an audio play for future generations.
