Tue 7 Oct 2003 "Where We're Born" by Lucy Thurber at Rattlestick 12 Nov 2003 Rattlestick Productions presents the World Premiere of Where We're Born, by Lucy Thurber, which opens at the Rattlestick Theatre 17 Nov 2003, following previews from 12 Nov, and booking to 21 Dec 2003. The play features Patch Darragh, Marin Ireland, Jason Pugatch, Tom Sadowksi and Sara Surrey It is directed by Will Frears, set design by Takeshi Kata, lighting by Matthew Richards and costumes by Jenny Mannis. Determined to escape her past, Lilly, the daughter of an alcoholic single mother, returns to the only home that she has ever known -- an impoverished western Massachusetts town. Where We�re Born is a tragedy in its original sense: characters doomed to live out their fate. �Its final moments are as powerful and moving as any play we have ever produced,� says David Van Asselt, Artistic Director at Rattlestick Productions. The cast includes Patch Darragh, Marin Ireland, Jason Pugatch, Tom Sadowksi and Sara Surrey.
