Cast and creative team members have been set for Wet Brain, a world-premiere play by John J. Caswell, Jr. As previously announced, Dustin Wills (Wolf Play) directs the Off-Broadway production.

The cast includes Frankie J. Alvarez as Ron, Ceci Fernández as Angelina, Florencia Lozano as Mona, Julio Monge as Joe, and Arturo Luis Soria as Ricky.

Joining Wills on the creative team are scenic designer Kate Noll, costume designer Haydee Zelideth Antuñano, lighting designer Cha See, sound designers Tei Blow and John Gasper, and projection designer Nick Hussong.

Wet Brain merges the classic family drama with elements of the supernatural. An Arizona family's patriarch has been ruined by alcoholism — and is potentially abducted by aliens. His family members cope with bitter humor, but they search far and wide to find real closure in this play.

Wet Brain is a co-production of Off-Broadway theatre companies MCC Theater and Playwrights Horizons. The show will be performed from May 17 to June 25 at Playwrights Horizons's theatre. Opening night is June 6.
