She's the greatest star! Lea Michele, the Glee star who currently plays Fanny Brice in Funny Girl on Broadway, performed "I'm the Greatest Star" on Late Night With Seth Meyers on December 5.

Meyers also interviewed Michele about Funny Girl, including how Barbra Streisand, who originated the role of Fanny on screen and on Broadway, gave her a gold envelope of approval.

In Funny Girl, Michele stars as the real-life Ziegfeld Follies performer Fanny, who risks fame and fortune for a dangerous romance with the gambler Nick Arnstein. The current revival is the first Broadway production of Funny Girl since its 1964 premiere.

A five-star New York Theatre Guide review of Michele's performance reads, "Lea Michele in Funny Girl on Broadway is the theatre event of the season. It’s live theatre at its finest. It’s the perfect marriage of actress and role."
