‘Trevor’ musical to receive New York premiere this fall

Performances begin at Stage 42 from October 25.

The New York premiere of Trevor will open off-Broadway in the fall, after it was postponed due to the pandemic. Trevor will begin previews at Stage 42 from October 25, with an opening night on November 10. Find out more about Trevor tickets in New York here.

Based on the 1994 Academy Award-winning short film of the same name, Trevor follows teenager Trevor Nelson dreaming of a life in showbusiness. Thrust under the wrong spotlight, Trevor goes on a journey of self-discovery.

Trevor features a book and lyrics by Dan Collins, and music by Julianne Wick Davis. Casting is to be announced, but when the production was first confirmed, the cast included Hudson Loverro (as Trevor), alongside Mark Aguirre, Ava Briglia, Sidney Dupont, Ellie Kim, Yale Langworthy, Mateo Lizcano, Luke Mannikus, Alyssa Emily Marvin, Luke Naphat, Zachary Podair, Brandi Porter, Dan Rosales, Isabella Russo, Yasmeen Sulieman, Afra Sophia Tully, Joshua Turchin, Sally Wilfert, and Jarrod Zimmerman.

Trevor is at Stage 42 from October 25. Performances of Trevor are currently scheduled to Apr. 17, 2022.
