'Thom Pain (Based On Nothing)' is now booking to the 4 Sep 2005

Thom Pain (Based On Nothing), a new play by recent Oppenheimer Award winning playwright Will Eno, as extended for a third time and is now booking to the 4 Sep 2005 at DR2 Theatre, where it opened on the 25 Jan 2005, following previews from the 18 Jan.

Thom Pain is a wry play in which an ordinary man muses on childhood, yearning, disappointment and loss, cataloguing the eternal agonies of the human condition as he draws his audience into his last-ditch plea for empathy and enlightenment.

Thom Pain stars OBIE Award winning actor James Urbaniak (star of the acclaimed film American Splendor) and is directed by Hal Brooks. The show was first performed in London at the Soho Theatre as a Launch Pad reading, and then played to critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival, where it received the Fringe First Award and the Herald Angel Award. The production then returned to Londons Soho Theatre for a critically acclaimed limited engagement.
