UPDATE: The complete The Who's Tommy Broadway cast will also include ensemble members Haley Gustafson, Jeremiah Alsop, Ronnie S. Bowman Jr., Mike Cannon, Tyler James Eisenreich, Sheldon Henry, Afra Hines, Aliah James, David Paul Kidder, Tassy Kirbas, Lily Kren, Quinten Kusheba, Reese Levine, Brett Michael Lockley, Nathan Lucrezio, Alexandra Matteo, Mark Mitrano, Reagan Pender, Cecilia Ann Popp, Daniel Quadrino, Olive Ross-Kline, Jenna Nicole Shoen, Dee Tomasetta, and Andrew Tufano.

The Who’s Tommy has set its principal Broadway cast ahead of its run this spring. The first revival of the acclaimed rock musical begins performances at the Nederlander Theatre on March 8 ahead of a March 28 opening.

Joining the previously announced Ali Louis Bourzgui in the title role are Alison Luff as Mrs. Walker, Adam Jacobs as Captain Walker, John Ambrosino as Uncle Ernie, Bobby Conte as Cousin Kevin, and Christina Sajous as The Acid Queen. All six actors reprise their roles from the pre-Broadway run of Tommy at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre in 2023.

Additional casting has yet to be announced.

Des McAnuff and The Who’s Pete Townshend created Tommy based on The Who’s same-named concept album about a young boy, catatonic from trauma, who finds local fame as a pinball star. McAnuff, who directed the original production in 1993, returns for the revival.

The Who’s Tommy won five Tony Awards, including Best Original Score, and features songs like “Pinball Wizard,” “I’m Free,” and “We’re Not Gonna Take It.”
