'The Way Of Love' - Sherry Vine in cabaret at Elmo's

Sherry Vine's new cabaret show The Way of Love is debuting in New York at the Lounge at Elmo's from the 2 - 11 Feb for six performances only.

The Way of Love is a new take on the old "girl gets boy, girl losses boy, girl finds self" scenario. Using a collection of classic tunes mixed with modern pop hits to move the story forward, this one "woman" show incorporates comedy, a dash of tragedy and some killer tunes.

The Way of Love follows Sherry through the ups and down of her love affair with a "yet to be disclosed member of the Royal Family." (Shhh, don't tell but, it's Prince William.) With a roster filled with hits such as "Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries," Dusty Springfield's "Close My Eyes," Stephen Sondheim's "I'm Still Here" and Pink's "Just Like a Pill". The Way of Love is packed with elements that are quintessential Sherry Vine!

In 2001, Sherry Vine's left the Big Apple' to set up camp in Berlin (where incidentally, The Way of Love ran for an unprecedented 5 months). From there Sherry spent the better part of the last 3 1/2 years performing around the globe, from a sold out run at Sydney Mardi Gras to cabarets and theaters in Zurich, Cologne, Barcelona, Rome and Hamburg.

Prior to her stint abroad, Sherry Vine's was founder and lead actress of the downtown theater troupe Theatre Couture. Under the Couture banner, Sherry appeared in almost a dozen shows including the Off-Broadway hits 'Tell-Tale' (Cherry Lane), 'Charlie!' (P.S. 122), 'Doll' (P.S. 122), 'Kitty Killer' (P.S. 122), 'The Final Feast of Lucretia Borgia' (CBGB's Gallery) and 'Esp - Eyes of a Supermodel Psychic' (CBGB's Gallery).
