The Underclassman to play at the Duke on 42nd Street

Prospect Theater Company presents a new musical The Underclassman, inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's first novel 'This Side of Paradise'. It features music and lyrics by Peter Mills, and book by Cara Reichel and Peter Mills. Reichel also directs the production, which features choreography by Christine O'Grady, and music direction and orchestrations by Daniel Feyer.

The Underclassman will begin previews at off-Broadway's The Duke on 42nd Street on 9 November 2014, before officially opening on 19 November and ending its limited run on 23 November 2014.

Synopsis: "The Underclassman is an original musical that explores F. Scott Fitzgerald's coming of age as a writer on the eve of World War I, and his first romance with the elusive debutante Ginevra King."

The cast includes Matt Dengler (F. Scott Fitzgerald), Jessica Grové (Ginevra King), Piper Goodeve (Marie Hersey), Marrick Smith (John Peale Bishop), Billy Hepfinger (Edmund Wilson), with Jordan Bondurant, Elizabeth Burton, Jason Edward Cook, Ian Fairlee, Matt Gibson, Holland Grossman, Christopher Herr, Adam Machart, Jeremy Morse, C.J. Pawlikowski, Davey Rosenberg, Michael Romeo Ruocco, Liz Shivener, and Whitney Winfield.

The creative team features scenic design by Ann Bartek, costume design by Sidney Shannon, lighting by Brian Tovar, and sound design by Kevin Heard.
