The Tutors extends run by one week

Second Stage Theatre's world premiere of The Tutors, written by Erica Lipez and directed by Thomas Kail, as extended its run by one week, and will now play through to 23 Jun 2013.

Presented as the first production of Second Stage Theatre's Uptown Series, The Tutors opened at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre on 05 Jun 2013, following previews from 22 May 2013, and was oeiginally scheduled to close on 16 Jun 2013.

The Tutors: No one dreams of being a tutor: just ask Heidi, Toby and Joe. While catering to the offspring of New York elite has forced them to confront the anticlimax of adulthood, these roommates are not ready to give up on their social networking startup - just yet. When Heidi's online editing begins to invade her subconscious and a student crosses the line, all three friends might be in over their heads.

The play stars Louis Ozawa Changchien (Second Stage's Warrior Class), Matt Dellapina (The Dream Of The Burning Boy), Aubrey Dollar ("Guiding Light"), Keith Nobbs (Lombardi) and Chris Perfetti (Picnic).

The production's creative team includes scenic design by Rachel Hauck, costume design by Jessica Jahn, lighting design by Betsy Adams and sound design by Jill DuBoff.
