'The New Bohemia' a burlesque murder mystery musical, at the Village Theatre

Epicurean Productions presents The New Bohemia, a burlesque murder mystery musical, as part of the NY International Fringe Festival from the 12 - 28 Aug 2005 at the Village Theater.

Inspired by characters from Gotham�s subterranean speakeasies, the art of Noir Theater and the Emerald City of dreamers, Manhattan, the sexy tale of streetwise singers, delicious divas and sumptuous showgirls wrapped up in a murder mystery comes to life.

The New Bohemia has book and lyrics by Patrick Bonomo and Shelly Watson, who also star in the musical, with music by Rima Fand, Shelly Watson and Miguel Weissman.

The musical is directed by Dennis Hinson, and has choreography by Jenn Bates, Makeup by Karl Giant and costumes by Marion Talan.

The Mayor Who Would Be Sondheim is presented by Dawn Elane, with Carpe Dream Productions.
