The Muscles in Our Toes Extends Through 19 July 2014

The Labyrinth Theater Company's New York Premiere of Stephen Belber's dark comedy The Muscles in Our Toes, directed by Anne Kauffman has extended for one week at the Bank Street Theater, where it will now run through 19 Jul 2014. The show officially opened on 26 Jun 2014 following previews from 14 Jun and was originally booking to 13 Jul 2014.

The cast of The Muscles in Our Toes features Amir Arison, Nadia Dajani, Bill Dawes, Samuel Ray Gates, Matthew Maher and Mather Zickel.

"In this dark comedy, four friends meet at their high school reunion, and ponder a plan to free their old friend who's been kidnapped by a radical political group. Absurdity, intensity and plain ole weirdness ensue when this inebriated, stoned, adolescently arrested, religiously confused group of friends attempts to tackle the task at hand and at the same time, debate the forces of international terrorism."

The Muscles in Our Toes has lighting by 2014 Tony Award nominee Japhy Weideman, set design by Lee Savage, costumes by Emily Rebholz, and sound design by Jessica Paz.

The Muscles in Our Toes had its world premiere at the El Portal Forum theater in Los Angeles in 2009, in a production directed by Jennifer Chambers.
